To deliver alerts, we store your notification preferences, push subscription endpoint, and read/unread status linked to your account. Notification payloads may include academic reminders, notice updates, and service messages.
Some notifications are targeted based on profile context (for example hosteller status or admin role). This targeting is processed within MyITER and is not shared with external advertisers.
This notice is a supplement to the MyITER General Privacy Policy, which governs the collection, use, disclosure, retention, and protection of your personal data across the whole of the Service and which applies in full to this feature. Where this notice is silent, the General Privacy Policy applies. Where this notice differs from the General Privacy Policy, this notice prevails for this feature only.
